A double-whammy nomination from the prominent Sports Industry Awards 2021 continues to showcase the recognition of hard work and efforts at Alliance FC.
Alliance FC has been nominated in the category of Best Sports Youth Academy / Organisation, whilst Founder and Director, Mehran Rowshan has picked up the esteemed nomination for Sports Leader of the Year; both as part of the highly-reputed Sports Industry Awards 2021 (SPIA).
Established in the Middle East in 2012, the Sports Industry Awards is the official celebration of the leaders, decision makers, organisations, facilities and campaigns that have contributed to the development of sport in the Middle East.
With a rigorous application and judging process, SPIA has established itself as the go-to source for grassroots efforts in the sports industry. Their incredible success story has, like all major sports, been built on teamwork, professionalism and business acumen.
The vision and core strategies provided by the sport industry have ensured the region has stayed ahead of the game, constantly setting new standards that have become the envy of the international sporting arena.
Alliance FC has been a huge contributor in elevating the status of sports in the Middle East since it was established in 2015. Through the continued dedication, and development of the founder, the coaches, and the whole team’s commitment, Alliance is pioneering football in the region for a number of incredible reasons.
The well-respected club is a symbol and perfect example of nurturing the future generation, the right way. Not only do they provide football training for boys and girls, they are staunch advocates of sustainability and eco-initiatives, their training methods encompass classic processes mixed with creative and contemporary techniques, and, most of all, the club’s values and ethos instil messages of equality, teamwork, humility, and hard work – allowing players to advance their game and cultivate their own friendships and personalities.
It is no surprise then that Alliance FC’s Founder and Director, Mehran Rowshan, has been nominated as Sports Leader of the Year. Mehran is a multiple-F.A.-qualified sports coach, a sought-after youth mentor, and an expert in areas such as braining (brain training). His focus is on developing the future stars of football, but, more importantly, enriching the leaders and decision-makers of tomorrow. Mehran and his team ensure that every young athlete to step through their doors is given the chance to build life skills alongside playing the game.
Mehran’s devotion to elevate, and innovate, the landscape of youth sports in Dubai and the Middle East has garnered the club a truly impressive status. As a world-leader in the youth mentoring and sports coaching industry, it is Mehran’s willpower and samurai mindset that allows him to educate and inspire the youth to make more informed actions and decisions, both on and off the pitch.
Alliance FC continues to grow as a revolutionary place to play football and to mature as a player and member of the community. This was recently recognised by the MEA Markets’ when the club won the “Sports Pioneer Award 2021 for Middle East’s First Eco-Friendly Club” – another notch in the belt for a sports organisation that is all about youth empowerment and the strive to progress.
Congratulations to Mehran and the whole Alliance FC team – these are two well-deserved nominations at a time when it is truly significant for young people to know that the limit really does not exist!
The 2021 edition of SPIA has 21 Award categories, which will recognise the lofty achievements of the sporting industry in the Middle East and serve to reward those who have excelled across a range of diverse sporting segments. The awards ceremony will take place on May 25th at W Hotel, Palm Jumeirah.
