As the Holy Month of Ramadan is approaching us next week, our “#AllianceGives“ campaign will begin. We use this time to continually fund children in Ethiopia with gently used football attire, apparel and equipment which can be donated at every training session till the end of June. Our annual charity drive has been very successful every year since Alliance was created and as an offering to “give back” to those who share the same love of the game, but unfortunately cannot be provided with the same luxuries we have here in the UAE.
In addition to the collection of goods, one of our coaches who resides from Ethiopia during the summer months organizes pro-bono football clinics to children in different villages. As a reward to these children for attending these clinics, they are distributed the goods collected during our Alliance Gives charity drive.
