2020

April

Our trips are designed to develop the individual as well as the footballer. We regularly add non-football related objectives to our trips such as team bonding, problem-solving & brain storming. We encourage our players to get to know the cultures of each city we visit by going to city tours & visiting local museums.

Gothia Cup | Sweden

Gothia World Youth Cup is one of the oldest & most recognised tournaments in the world. Our first trip to the Gothia Cup was a massive success in 2016.

Gothia Cup

  • 2016: 16th-23rd July
  • 2019: 15th-21st July

In 2016 we took our U14s to one of the oldest youth tournaments in the world. The experience was as good as we expected it to be. Our players played some solid matches against different teams from the world.

2016

15th-21st July

July 14th 2019, marked the start of our journey to Gothenburg, Sweden to participate in the annual Gothia Cup. Along this incredible path, the boys achieved a tremendous amount of personal development on and off the pitch, strengthening the bonds between themselves and gaining the experience of playing against the toughest opponents they have faced to date whilst participating in the U15’s category, with our team having the average age of just 12 1⁄2! That alone being an incredible achievement, the boys did not stop impressing there, whether it was with a ball at their feet or a badge on their chest, they achieved all of it whilst staying true to the identity of Alliance Football Club.
