Alliance FC was nominated in the category of Best Sports Youth Academy / Organisation, whilst Mehran Rowshan picked up the esteemed nomination for Sports Leader of the Year – going on to win the latter!

Speaking about the win, Mehran says: “ I've never been after any individual awards as we focus on achieving great things as a team, However this prize is just a confirmation of how We've been setting the bar in the country".

Not only is Mehran a multiple-F.A.-qualified sports coach, a coveted youth mentor, and an expert in areas such as braining (brain training), football methodology, and mindset, he also brings decades’ worth of well-rounded sports insight to his role. This has allowed him to develop and grow a youth organisation that works to enrich the skills of young players as well as building their confidence and self-esteem both on and off the pitch.

Mehran’s pioneering leadership has led to initiatives and campaigns at the club which have made a huge difference in the lives of its members, the environment, and others around the world. These include; Alliance Gives (collecting and sending donations of football kits, boots, and equipment to underprivileged youth in different parts of Africa), implementing a strong sustainability policy at the club which bans single use plastic bottles and disposable masks, and providing young players with hands-on opportunities in football through international trips and collaborations with world-class training institutions.

Mehran’s devotion to elevate, and innovate, the landscape of youth sports in Dubai and the Middle East has garnered the club a truly impressive status. As a world-leader in the youth mentoring and sports coaching industry, it is Mehran’s willpower and samurai mindset that allows him to educate and inspire the youth to make more informed actions and decisions, in football and in everyday life.

Alliance FC continues to grow as a revolutionary place to play football and to mature as a player and member of the community. This was recently recognised by the MEA Markets’ when the club won the “Sports Pioneer Award 2021 for Middle East’s First Eco-Friendly Club” – another notch in the belt for a sports organisation that is all about youth empowerment and the strive to progress.

Mehran’s win symbolises the true professionalism, camaraderie, respect and teamwork that is at the heart of Alliance FC, its members, and their families. Congratulations, coach – here’s to another year of growth, learning, and, most of all, making memories!
